Watching TV is one of the most popular things to do in your free time. In average every grown-up German watches TV several hours a day. Since there are so many channels to choose from we have the choice and channel hopping is very popular. The following pictures result from one hour (10 p.m. until 11 p.m.) "zapping" the channels on Thursday the 25th of July 2002. I recorded anything to a video tape and digitized afterwards more then 400 video stills. Using standard filters of PhotoPaint I converted those stills into a kind of virtual drawings. From those I choosed 60 to present here; one for each minute I watched TV - 60 out of 90000 (60 minutes à 60 secondes à 25 pictures in PAL format), one out of 1500. The size of the pictures is the original TV format (PAL, 786 x 576 pixel). Consequently I recommend a monitor resolution of at least 1024 x 768 pixel for the following pages.
